Just Speak helps users dictate text on macOS. Earshot helps users capture system audio, transcribe speech, translate captions, and create meeting notes or summaries on macOS. Some features run locally on the device. Optional features may require Apple system assets, downloaded local models, a license server check, or user configuration.
Eligibility
You may use Swingby apps only if you can legally enter into these terms and comply with applicable law. You are responsible for how you record, transcribe, translate, summarize, store, and share audio, text, and meeting content.
Recording And Consent
You are responsible for getting any consent or notice required before recording or transcribing meetings, calls, streams, or other audio. Swingby apps do not decide whether a recording is allowed in your location, workplace, platform, or meeting.
License And Activation
Swingby apps are licensed, not sold. A paid personal license allows one person to use the purchased app under the current License Policy. The launch policy is 1 Mac activated at a time. Activation, deactivation, and license validation are handled by the Swingby license service and Polar license-key infrastructure.
Updates And Availability
Early Access licenses include lifetime app updates for the purchased app while that app is actively maintained and distributed. This does not guarantee indefinite maintenance, compatibility with every future macOS release, every future feature, third-party service availability, cloud service access, or support forever. We may change, pause, hide, or discontinue features that are not production-ready, depend on unavailable platform APIs, or cannot be operated safely.
Third-Party Services And Models
Earshot may rely on third-party systems such as macOS speech or translation assets, Sparkle updates, Polar checkout and licensing, downloaded open-source models, or optional user-configured services. Those third-party services, models, and packages may have their own terms, privacy notices, licenses, rate limits, and availability constraints.
User Content
Your audio, transcripts, translations, notes, summaries, exported files, and settings are your responsibility. You are responsible for backing up content you want to keep and for deleting content you no longer need.
Acceptable Use
You may not use Swingby apps to violate law, infringe rights, intercept audio without proper authorization, distribute malware, attack license or update systems, or misrepresent machine-generated transcripts or summaries as verified human notes.
No Warranty
Swingby apps are provided as is. Transcripts, translations, summaries, timestamps, and speaker or context interpretation may be incomplete or inaccurate. You should review important output before relying on it.
Limitation Of Liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Swingby is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost business, or loss caused by inaccurate transcripts, translations, summaries, recordings, model output, third-party services, or license/update availability.
